Local-First Data Architecture
Resume Builder Pro is a "Local-First" application.
All information you enter—including your name, contact details, work history, education, and profile pictures—is stored locally on your device using a secure database (Hive).
We do NOT host your resume data on our servers. Your data stays on your phone and is only exported when you choose to share or print it. Uninstalling the App removes all user-generated data.
Third-Party Integrations
We use trusted third-party services to provide specific features:
- Google Gemini AI: When you use the "AI Write" feature, the job title or summary text you provide is sent to Google Gemini APIs to generate professional suggestions. No personal identifiers (like your email or name) are sent unless you include them in the description box.
- Google AdMob: We display ads to keep the service free. AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as device identifiers and location) to show personalized ads.
App Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to function:
- Internet: Required for AI text generation and loading advertisements.
- Storage/Gallery: Required to select a profile picture and save exported PDF resumes to your device.
- Camera: Optional, for taking a profile picture directly.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally, parents can manage their child's data by deleting the app or clearing local storage.
